
From the moment I slid into the car, I started peppering Vihaan with questions about his day. He humored me, telling me just enough to distract me, but not enough for me to worry about him. And I made sure not to give him a single opening to ask about the lab. It's not that I didn't want to tell him. It's just... he has enough on his plate.
